I cant see your pictures at Myspace. Seems that something is missing.

Im not sure that your idea using a vortex tube will do any good. You will get a big temperatur differens but im certain that the energy lose due decompressing the air will take away any benefit..

Hi Im trying to make a pressurized engine like you are. The sealings I have found that might do the job are: http://carstenholm.dk/page.asp?sideid=80&zcs=6 (type: Hat F) They look like they have a low fiction. How much pressure do you have i mind for your engine. I'll hope mine can run with up t...

How high are the displacer. After what I can see is that your displacer must be about 2/3 of the total chamber height, because of the short stroke of the displacer. You must be sure that the displacer goes all the way from bottom to top to gain max performance. but nice piece of work you have do the...

I think Im gonna rebuild my engine and use a big displacer and shorter stroke as you say. The "C" pipes has been my idea all the time, but it was easier to "paint" the pipes as I did. My next project will be a two cylinder stirling using the same heatpipes and power piston but ti...

I've seen the pipe idea used on a few power producing engine where the hot end had to be put into the fire.. like this engine http://www.elec.canterbury.ac.nz/documents/gaynor/stirling.htm But I wished to do that with the cool side too. so I had to guide the air around, so i came up with the idea of...

Hi Ive been playing with a little idea by using membrans to guide the air from hot to cold and back.. http://bylaug.stolbro.dk/HenrikPrivat/MyStirlingV1_00.JPG When the displacer(sealed) move upward it push the air to go through the small blue pipes(coldside). When the displacer goes down it push th...
