Hello.

You could use double sided tooth belt too. Gears have to be super precise and backslash free for rhombic engine.

I did tried try them - not for my mechanic skill.

Answer is simple - it is much more expensive per watt compared to ic. I know, i tried it. Still have idea to make them in kit form at useful power level. But it is still in a 1000-2000 usd area for mere few hundred watts. I don't know, I could be wrong, and it might not work at all, but from what l...

Mine two cents. For air engine, we need not only air, but also a kind of air preparation system. At lest dryer. So - put after dryer, deoxygenator of any kind. Ordinary steel sponge heated to 800 degree or like will do the trick. And working with nitrogen and some other gases - is totally safe with ...

I do not know of any manufacturer alive in eu who make kinematic stirling engines. But - how much power fo you need ? I may have some option.

Beeing sarcastic. Or just buy a lathe. Or move to carpentery style stirling engine from rubber bellows. Which was done and can mome some power.

Ouch. Ok. I was thinking of human size boat :) gor small rc boat - it is fine.

And no, i do not have small chinese lathes. Two Harrisons and Ycm cnc mill :)

Ok. But for un pressurised you need some 1000-2000 cc to power a boat.
