I am very impressed with the ingenuity of the hinged angle displacer. Next engine it would be great if we could all see in-progress pictures. It's always nice to see how others go about making things. Great work.

I agree with the previous post that this engine design is not feasible as drawn; however, with a few modifications it may be possible to run a free piston ringbom stirling engine similarly. This experimental finding matches with LTD stirling engine analytical work as well as published experimental findings. Many experimental LTD engines have variable power piston stroke in order to re-adjust the swept volume of the power piston based on the running temperature difference.
