You can buy very short (1.5 inches, 2/3 inch ID) copper joins for less than 50cents at home depot. I grease the inside with vaseline before stuff it with eproxy.

I wish my barbecue has a rotisserie.
How is that for a stirling engine application? A tiny stirling takes a very small amount of heat from a barbecue grill and direct drives a rotisserie. A tiny generator can also be attached to the stirling to power a few white LED lights for the evening so I can how the food is being cooked. Question...

That will make it much more complicated. Oiling and Sealing the crank case is very big challenge. A double acting gamma type engine with two displacer cylinder would be easier to design and produce.

Hi,
Been running some stirling engines under 1Bar. If charging the engine to a higher pressure is desired, is it necessary to charge the crank case as well?
