Exactly! They are a demo engine. Never designed to do anything else but that really.
Sure help builders to understand the Stirling basics.

I jus wanna say,,,, this little motor is great!! i didnt knew it (my english is very poor) 2 nights ago i found the web by error (hehehe) but actually i am building mine..

hi i have been interested in stirling engine for years (10)
and now collecting tins + other bits to make my first one
a walkimg beam engine seems the simple engine to make!!
