Why do so many people like annular heaters? what i meant about the cad was, could you just tell me what you think of my design?

Joseph, I think you said you had seen Andy Ross's book "Making Stirling Engines", if you have down loaded it, look on page (27), you'll see a drawing of his 35 cc motor, you can scale the yoke off that. If like me you want to raise the crank shaft, you can turn the yoke over, and have the crank at the top.
