Molded power piston experiment

Postby Crazyguy » Sat Mar 05, 2016 7:11 am

I have an idea for a custom made power piston that could be made to fit any cylinder. Basically I'm going to try and mix together powdered graphite, Durhams Rock hard water putty and water. Pour it into a piece of the cylinder and let it set up.
The graphite will make it slippery, the water putty I've used for model rocket nozzles (very heat resistant) .
I'll report back on the results.
