Help out a rookie

Post by Sadab »

Hey guys. I am new here and basically new to the concepts of stirling engines. I have decided to do an undergrad project on power harvesting using stifling engines.
Since I have only studied electrical subjects till now I have a low understanding of stirling model constructions although I hammered the basics into me.

I want to make the glass strings sterling engines but I ran into some problems. How do I make a regenerator, how do I make the crankshaft and what are the calculations for the amount of space I need to leave inside the syringes.

As you can tell from the writing above I still am an amateur at this but please help me out.
If you could give me some links or names of books, etc that would be great. And any tips that I need to keep in mind would be great also.

Thanking you guys in anticipation. :) :)
