Looks very good. I see you have fitted an oiler, don't get too carried away with oiling the piston, the motor will get gummed up, and you will need to strip it down to clean it inside.

Thanks Ian !!
And do you remember this :

A thing that will give you a good cylinder for a motor is the internal cylinder of a automotive shock absorber, these are about 400 mm long, with a bore of 25 mm to 40 mm, you might be better looking at motor cycle telescopic front forks.
Ian S C""
I used motorcycle telescopic front forks for cylinder of Beta Stirling and It run excellent !!!
THANKS IAN !!!!!!!!!!

It's good to use a ready made cylinder as this is probably the most difficult part to get perfect.

That looks really good! How tight is the piston radial clearance? Commercial engines use low friction coatings on the piston, and maintaining tight clearance can be important for efficiency (and tricky).

Thanks Flash3780 !!
- I don't know exactly the piston radial clearance . I don't have digital calipers , I made piston very slowly and check step by step with bore cylinder until the pistons are fit and gentle movement in the cylinder ..
- What is material to use for low friction coatings on the piston ??

There is a Teflon coating that can be put o the likes of aluminium pistons, it's called Xylan, this is baked on, and you would have to find a commecial firm to do it for you. With a steel cylinder, cast iron is the best metal to use. With the polished cylinder that the above motor uses graphite would be the very best.

Hi Thanh - I Have been away for several weeks out in the desert without any internet and couldn't contact anyone, but now home with a very sick car.
Anyway! That is a very impressive engine and looks so great.
Do you have plans for that one Thanh or is this one from your head. - I like It -

Hi Trevor !! Nice to see you again.
I don't have plans , because I just think, calculate, draw on paper and do, in the process of doing, thinking, drawing on paper and doing ... you can see this link to understand my way.

But I give you the information of engine that I just measured

I can't seem to get my head around how that elegantly machined crankshaft works-- it looks like one piece has to go thru itself!?

(Obviously not.) Do you have closeups of that particular bit?

Lovely work.
