Full steam ahead, errrr air ahead.

Post by Stevedigiboy »

I have begun cutting the components to my stirling prototype and want to pressure test it as I am hoping to use hydrogen or helium in the motor. I am aiming for it to hold 50-75psi and fill it to 15psi. Any thoughts on containment? My cold end will be cold enough for nylon bush on displacer rod (bicycle spoke). Hoping to make a kit after I get through scaling it up. I have free access to waterjet machine and materials so hope to get cheap parts out for the masses.
