Aluminum Bottles

Post by squint »

Long time lurking, first time posting...

Since I have no stirling skills, I thought my first contribution to your wonderful forum would be more in line with one of my true abilities- scrounging stuff.

Bud Lite is now available in aluminum bottles (16oz)! The metal seems thicker than normal drink cans. Dimensions:
OD= ~58mm/ 2.28"
Length (till the bottle curves)= ~158mm/ 6.19"
LOA= ~237mm/ 9.31"

Thought of you guys the second I saw it.

I can't wait to see these in Australia. You may have hit on something for making a Stirling. :cool:
Kind Regards,

Ian.

I just went out to the kitchen and saw my roommate put some 24oz budweiser can in the recycling... I stole them. They're 7.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches diameter.
