First engine

Post by dolanbaker »

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I finally got round to trying to build an engine, I started to build using the walking beam plans and ended up with a standard Gamma configuration.

After a few hours work and a couple of rebuilds IT WORKS!

It only runs for a few seconds and needs a lot of oil to make the seals good but, not bad for a first effort.

Next one will run for longer and produce a bit of useful power (hopefully).

Does anyone have any plans or links to engines that can produce useful power 500w or thereabouts.

Thanks

Sorry, I have no plans for a useful Stiring but congratulations on you working first engine! Build a few more and eventually you may come up with one powerful enough.
