Help me :)

Last night I dreamed about a new stirling configuration. It's a strange rotary displacer stirling engine. I know who can build it for me, but i have to give him some projects. My problem is: what about ratios of "hot cylinder" "cold cylinder", "power cylinder" and flywheel?

Do you mean something like this http://www.emachineshop.com/machine-sho ... ge150.html.
There's not much specific info available on these on line as far as I can tell, but maybe you could email the above and ask ?

Can't hurt

Did you see this video BTW?

I think rotary Stirlings like this are more simple to build but less efficient. Why? Think about the rotating displacer - it moves from the hot to the cold side just like the air does (only in an opposite phase obviously) - so the displacer moves heat through the engine without extracting any work from it :( An efficient rotary would solve this problem. Maybe your new design already did this? :D

Here's another rotating Stirling idea, probably not home-buildable though:
