A relatively new web site has a lot of information of interest to model builders of Stirling and Hot Air Engine.
He has a simplified valving arrangement for Flame Licker engines which eliminates any fancy cams, linkages and levers.
The owner, Jan Ridders is a first class model maker. His site is at:

There is another site with both stirling and steam engines. One tin can engine is horizontal. Lots of pictures and details to assist with building them. The owner is Roy Shepherd and has a very interesting site aside from models.

http://heetgasmodelbouw.ridders.nu

It contains more than 25 models of Stirling engines, Vacuum engines(flame lickers) and small and very simple internal combustion engines, most of them according to own design. You will find descriptions, photographs, video-clips, animations and a lot of complete drawing plans, free to download and to use. Most relevant pages have English text too

I just finished making the drawing plan of the unique Linford two-stroke engine with the opposed pistons. You can find it on my website http://heetgasmodelbouw.ridders.nu Feel free to download and use it. Doing so you will help me in giving me the feeling that the 100 net manhours I spend on this was useful. Be my guest!
