Motorcycle powered by stirling engine

Dear all,

I am new for Stirling engine, is it possible to power motorcycle with this engine ?

If so, are there any information on the internet ?

anannop, maybe not a motorbike, but a power assisted bicycle is possible. If you down load (its free), Andy Ross's book "Making Stirling Engines", you will see his attempt, he used his C 60 motor, it is 100 watts when pressurised, but as installed on the bike, it was unpressurised, and produced 50 watts. Look up stirling engine powered boats on utube. That will give you some idea of what your dealing with.

The ones in the boats are a bit bigger, but there is another one on Utube of a Go Cart stiring powered. Ian S C
