examples of closed brayton cycle piston engine?

Post by fullofhotair »

Iam trying to find an example of a closed system brayton cycle piston engine. The only example I found was difficult to read due to translation and the diagram wasnt complete. I know the early brayton engines were internal combustion but the cycle permits a closed externally heated system. Have any small models been built other than turbine?

[tab=20]Id like to insert something here.
--THANK YOU Fullofhotair and Ian SC escpecially.--

[tab=20]I read a fair amount of the posts you guys make and find I am mingling among some brilliant people here at this forum. Yet with the level of your experience you still take time to offer advice to a novice like me in regard to these engines. Following posts which are made here is quite inspiring and thought provoking. So again...

--THANK YOU.--
What we need is a More Heat or More cold, and Less Friction or Better Air Seals ...and an Aspirin!

Thanks Hawke, I'm a bit of a night owl, so I usually get onto the forum in the middle of the night. I don't see why I should not pass on some of the rubbish/ knowledge I'v picked up, while I collect more here. Ian S C
