Gamma Engine with Bailey Linkages

I had an old Gamma engine and wanted to do something else with it, so decided to add a bailey's linkage to it.
The idea was to get a smooth slow running engine with a little more horsepower than my other models. This turned out to be a successful engine and was pleased with the results.
I have tried many water pumps on my models and found by far that the best pump is a diaphragm pump which seems to use less horsepower than a piston one.

The Piston is 42mm diameter and has a stoke of 22mm
The displacer is 38mm internal and a stroke of 41mm
The pictures show my result.

I can't find any reference to "Bailey Linkages" online, and have never heard of them before - any chance of an explanation/link?

Hi Mike
Sorry for the long delay, been away for a few days.
Below is a picture of the Bailey Engine. You notice that this is a Beta type engine - Not a Gamma Engine. What I did was to try and convert the Gamma Engine I had with a Bailey Linkage.
Turned out to be quite successful.
